When we started Putt Snipe Celly, we said we'd build something by the hockey community, for the hockey community. That's easy to put on a website. It's harder to actually do.
This week, we get our first real shot.
From June 17–21, DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation hosts DAWG Bowl XVI — over 50 teams, five days of hockey, and the heart of what this Foundation does year-round. If you don't know DAWG Nation: they support hockey players and families dealing with injury, illness, and tragedy. Sled hockey. Special hockey. Hockey Heals. The Over 80 Hall of Fame. And the Survivor Game — featuring players who've been through hell and got back on the ice anyway.
That's not a hockey event. That's a hockey family event.
So here's what PSC is doing:
We're volunteering. All three of us — Duane, Ryan, and Braden — will be working the registration table on Thursday, June 18th from 4 to 8 PM. Plus we'll be around the rink again on Saturday the 20th lending a hand. If you're heading to DAWG Bowl, come say hi.
We're contributing a silent auction item. A PSC backpack cooler (holds 20 cans), one of our hoodies, a short sleeve tee, a 10-pack of branded golf tees, and a few vinyl stickers. Bid on it. Hate-bid your buddy who's bidding on it. Support the cause either way.
We're pledging 10% of every June sale to DAWG Nation. Whether you buy gear because you want to support the Foundation, because your hockey buddy's birthday is coming up, or just because you want a Cold Rinks and Warm Greens tee or hoodie — every order in June puts money in the DAWG Nation fund.
No code. No checkbox. You just shop normally. We'll calculate at the end of the month and write the check.
